Do I need to download an app? ▾
No. Assistly runs in any browser on any device — iPhone, Android, desktop. Your tradies just open a link. Nothing to install, no app store required. (We're working on App Store presence for Q3 2026.)
How long does setup take? ▾
Less than a day. Reece (the founder) personally sets everything up with you — your business details, tradies, Twilio number for missed-call recovery, branded PDFs. You're live the same day. This is included in every plan.
I already use SimPro / ServiceM8 / Tradify. Why switch? ▾
Honestly, those are good tools — they all have features Assistly doesn't. Here's where tradies typically switch to Assistly:

Can I import my customer list and history? ▾
Yes. Reece will personally migrate your customer list and any open jobs/quotes during onboarding. CSV import for big lists. We've moved tradies off Tradify, ServiceM8, Excel sheets and even handwritten notebooks.
What about GST and BAS reporting? ▾
All quotes and invoices include GST automatically. Export reports to CSV or PDF for your accountant any time — sales, GST collected, customer summaries, the lot. We're built in Australia for Australian tax requirements.
Is my customer data safe? ▾
Yes. Hosted on Supabase with row-level security — your data is locked to your account, no other tradie can see it, ever. Encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We never sell or share data. Australian Privacy Act compliant.
What if I cancel? Do I lose my data? ▾
No lock-in. Export everything as CSV/PDF before cancelling — quotes, invoices, customers, jobs. We give you 30 days post-cancellation to grab anything you need, then we delete it. Your data is yours.
My tradies aren't great with tech. Will they use it? ▾
It's designed for non-tech users. The tradie app is mobile-first — they tap to mark a job done, upload a photo, see today's schedule. 15-minute training is usually enough. If a tradie can use Gumtree, they can use Assistly.
How does missed-call recovery work? ▾
When a customer calls and you miss it, they automatically get an SMS within seconds. We have a friendly conversation, collect their name, address and what the job is, then save it as a lead in your dashboard. You see it the moment you're free — no missed jobs, no "they probably called someone else."
Is there a contract? ▾

Does it work for my trade? ▾
Yes — Assistly works for any trade where you take jobs by phone, send quotes, and invoice customers. Plumbers, electricians, builders, HVAC, carpenters, painters, landscapers, locksmiths, glaziers, roofers, tilers — if it's a trade, it works.
